וַיִּפְשַׁ֨ע אֱד֜וֹם מִתַּ֣חַת יַד־יְהוּדָ֗ה עַ֚ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אָ֣ז תִּפְשַׁ֥ע לִבְנָ֛ה בָּעֵ֥ת הַהִ֖יא מִתַּ֣חַת יָד֑וֹ כִּ֣י עָזַ֔ב אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י אֲבֹתָֽיו׃
Demikianlah Edom memberontak melepaskan diri dari kekuasaan Yehuda sampai hari ini. Pada waktu itu juga Libna memberontak melepaskan diri dari kekuasaannya, karena ia telah meninggalkan Yang Mahakekal, Allah leluhurnya.
